Artifact C1 - Research & Scholarship

This entry contains my first theory paper for SDAD 5400: Student Development Theory. In the paper, I covered three theories, including sense of belonging, a bicultural model of Latino ethnic identity, and multicultural competency. Of these, Torres’ bicultural model most captured my interest, as the Mendel-square style structure helped to make it applicable to other contexts for acculturation.
